Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Perot Systems is currently looking for a Information Technology Manager to join our team in Washington D.C..

Job Responsibilities:
The manager will provides leadership support to Specialists and Analysts, ensuring that assigned team members meet or exceed goals. Prepares basic budget reports, assures timeline compliance, and develops staffing models. Provides performance and developmental information to Sr. Manager on assigned staff members. Knowledge of system principles, theories, concepts, and technologies is required in this position. Trains or provides training for less experienced staff.

Role requires hands-on technical support experience, physician practice management administration and support, standard and ad hoc reporting, desktop support (to include: technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related software/hardware), server support and administration, network support and administration, and problem management and escalation.

This individual will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a properly functioning physician practice management system supporting the revenue cycle process through a cooperative relationship with the account management team, centralized support team, and practice department administrators.

The manager will concentrate on resource effectiveness and performance to ensure client deliverables are obtained. Critical responsibilities include achievement of EHR implementation and support goals for the account?s overall financial performance and success.

Required Skills:
  • Min of 3-5 years of physician practice IT experience

  • 5+ years of Supervisor/Leadership experience

  • General knowledge of healthcare collection and billing practices, computer systems, basic finance and statistical analysis to provide value added services to the account and revenue cycle team

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)


    • Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of GE/IDX Flowcast 3.0

  • Working knowledge of Allscripts Touchworks EHR

  • Analytical skills necessary to examine reports (DBMS, ad hoc, other), detect and resolve problems relating to report generation

  • Prepare and administer policies, procedures and budgets

  • Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
