Job Summary

Support, develop and maintain system information used to plan and execute manufacturing processes at the facility. Work closely with various departments in an advisor role to improve their business processes and translating them to system-defined parameters. Participate in developing, testing and training new processes to support facility requested initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Site ERP/MES Master Data, which provides the basis for the manufacturing systems to schedule, report, and collect information, and support the enterprise systems as required for problem resolution. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing the item master additions for accuracy prior to developing the site master data. Give support and provide direction to direct reports.
Specialist for problem resolution and leveraging business systems for continuous improvement for Technology, BPM, Operations, Finance, QA, Supply Planning, Global Packaging Services, and Enterprise Data Management.
Provide training for the plant Business Systems, and education for professional career development.
Provide back-up support for other Plant Business Systems' Consultants and Specialists.
Give support and provide testing for Plant Business Systems and/or provide advice and guidance regarding ongoing improvements for the Business Process Management Department.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Math, Business or related discipline is required.
Prior career experience in the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing/packaging environment, process improvement, business participant during a MRP/ERP implementation, and strong MRP/ERP systems knowledge are preferred. Good working knowledge of GMP and FDA guidelines is necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to accomplish goals by collaborating with a wide variety of groups, disciplines and individuals. A high degree of problem-solving ability and creativity is essential.
