Secret Clearance is required



The duties of a platform analyst include analysis and determination of platform requirements to support existing and potential applications, provide system security, ensure network and system performance, provide highly available and fail over solutions, and determine hardware requirements for capacity planning.



The consultants will perform services related to the following tasks:

Determine platform design and goals.

Establish key business interfaces with customers to align their business needs with the platform goals.

Coordinate with other members of the team to document requirements for the platform.

Anticipate and plan for risk management associated with platform requirements.

Coordinate with system administrators and network administrators to determine hardware and network configurations to support customers' platform goals.

Assert that platform sufficiently supports existing applications and applications in development.

Coordinate with system administrators and network administrators to facilitate platform performance upgrades.

Experience/Skills
Subcontractor will provide consultants with the requisite skills necessary to assist Customer with its needs:

Analyzing business workflow requirements and writing detailed
specifications.

3+ years experience with or exposure to Systems Integration (using
messaging, web services, adapters, etc.)

Knowledge of Windows and Unix platform requirements and configurations.

Knowledge of Windows security.

General knowledge of network methodologies.

General knowledge of firewalls, and backup methodologies.

Ability to document and determine availability, and fail-over requirements.
