We are located in the downtown DC area and this is a full time position. Must be willing to get a Public Trust Clearance and beyond to qualify.

We have developed innovative systems utilizing biometrics and other advanced technologies to automate the analysis of digital media (video, photos and audio) enabling organizations to better leverage this growing communication medium.

What you need to have:

- At least 5-7 years as a Web developer in a professional environment
- Web 2.0 Web technologies
- AJAX ,Javascript, HTML
- JSP/Servlet, J2EE, Web Services
- Tomcat Web Server
- XML, DTD, XML Schema, UML
- Knowledge of multiple Open Source Tools
- Oracle Development experience is a plus.
- Flex, Actionscript, Flash a huge plus but not necessary
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related
- Experience working on Intranet and Internet websites
- Commercial Website experience
- Government Websites (.gov) would be a major plus)

What you will be doing:

- Providing support for AJAX mapping application enhancements
- Work with a design team to collaborate application portals
- Data/Presentation APIs for existing Map pages, New formats for data downloads (XML, CSV), Automated notification of updates (RSS)
- Searching current data for detailed receipts and disbursements and Portal entry page- special pages for different audiences
- Be the expert for all other teams in regard to Web development
- Providing technical documentation
- Provide leadership and mentor Junior developer and other IT staff
- Provide direct support to the Enterprise Architect.
