What you will be doing:

- Lead the discussion about, design and development of the integration architecture.
- Lead the definition of the integration interface design to provide simplicity, extensibility, scalability and traffic controlled access to core service functionality.
- Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from design to development to deployment and on-going enhancement.
- Work with the rest of the development community to ensure end to end architectural, functional and protocol consistency.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, third party organizations, and the Product Group.

What you need:

- 5+ years of commercial software design, development and deployment experience in large scale service architectures with IT applications
- Telecom or related industry experience
- WebLogic and Oracle database application design and development in a distributed environment.
- JMS, MQ or other Real Time messaging system bus with clustering support.
- XML, HTTP, SOAP, REST, Web Services.
- BSCS or related

Desired:

- Knowledge of Wireline and wireless network architectures.
- Knowledge of network management protocols is desired.
- Knowledge of Unix, xml/http protocols, publish/subscribe technologies, or n-tier Web based distributed systems and localization issues and their use in a massively scalable environment.
- Solid experience working in Agile and iterative methodologies.
- Experience designing and building highly concurrent, high throughput Web services w/a deep understanding of the performance impacts of alternative threading architectures including thread per connection and event-based mechanisms.
- Experience designing and building high throughput caching systems, cache coherency algorithms, streaming, or eventually consistent systems.
