Process Consultant opportunity with Humana's Platform Migration Team.

In this position the candidate will be responsible for working with project teams to guide the development, streamlining and implementation of solid and sustainable migration procedures associated with Humana's drive to a single operational platform. Projects will tend to be complex in nature, cross-organizational in scope and of significant risk to the organization. This position is responsible for applying sound engineering and continuous improvement principals to the various automated and manual processes used to move groups and membership to a single platform. This will include ongoing analysis of barriers and issues encountered during the migration process, identification of the resolution to the root cause and managing implementation of related improvements or changes.


Key Accountabilities:
Design and implement process improvement for new or existing projects
Leverage methodology experience and knowledge to identify process improvements
Manage implementation of opportunities for migration process improvement
Analyze and propose recommendations to resolve root causes of migration barriers and issues
Work with the project team to manage groups through the migration process
Ensure procedures are properly documented and training plans established
Support project teams with process analysis and design related to project scope
Consult with leadership and project teams on issues and projects

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or commensurate experience
2-4 years experience in process engineering or continuous improvement
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint
Experience with process improvement methodology, six sigma and/or re-engineering preferred
Experience with cross-functional processes and project teams desired
