Process Engineer-Chemistry Collect and assist in analyzing data involving laboratory testing of strips. Follow design of experiments closely and meticulously record results. Executes problem solving, efficiency studies, and the identification of process improvement opportunities. Interfaces with Quality Assurance and R&D on process/chemistry/material requirements for new and current products. Assists in executing on-site transfer projects and product scale-up activities. Recommends and implements improvements in manufacturing and laboratory testing. Experience and Skills: Ability to read, write and understand documents written in English. Self motivated individual with experience working in a team format. Experience in chemistry scale-up activities Process development knowledge desired. Knowledge in Statistics and Design of Experiments (DOE) desired. HPLC, Jump experience desired. Knowledge of cGMP and GLP requirements. Education A BS in chemical engineering, chemistry, or equivalent along with at least 0-2 years experience in medical device, clinical diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing.
