Required Skills:
Currently Client has an opening for a full time SOURCING SPECIALIST (INDIRECT PROCUREMENT) at the Client North American Headquarters located in Secaucus, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position will develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry and suppliers for a wide variety of commodity areas.

Identifying organizational needs and negotiating with suppliers for services and products to meet those needs

Benchmark and maintain measures for suppliers under contractual arrangements

Develop, produce and deliver information and metrics to all levels of management concerning industry trends, supplier performance

Develop RFI/RFP and negotiation strategies

Lead negotiation teams and provide subject matter expertise to other procurement professionals

Preparing and analyzing financial data and quotations;

Encouraging the utilization of procurement services by all prospective business partner organizations;

Executing and administering all agreements to ensure adherence to policies and quality processes;

Ensuring exceptional business partner satisfaction.

Research, identify, seek out and obtain needed information, facts or data by questioning others and/or using paper-based or electronic documentation and data

Analyze and calculate financial ratios to identify trends, risks and measure performance. Translate financial data into management information

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree
or

EXPERIENCE: 3-6 years relevant procurement experience

MANAGEMENT:

Well organized, detail orientated, self-motivated problem solver; Ability to set priorities and demonstrate core competency.

Prioritizes and executes work plans to achieve results. Executes work of moderate complexity with limited oversight.df-tc
