Description
POSITION: Product Development, Management, and Marketing for a leading consumer electronics company and manufacturer of IT accessory and peripheral products.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
* Develop the full product life cycle and product development plan and financial goals while conducting price negotiations.
* Heavy interface with Asia office's procurement department. Oversee quality assurance, operational teams, and upper management in order to execute successful product development.
* Present and clearly communicate product strategy for key features and design effects.
* Collaborate with business, consumer service, and engineering teams during product discovery to assess value, usability, and feasibility of product features.
* Manage partner relationships, identifying necessary and/or desirable third party features. Evaluate and select vendors, negotiating agreements and contracts, and managing partnerships.
* Manage third party dependencies and secure necessary engagement / resource alignment for the creation of co-developed product features.
* Engage frequently with engineering and project management during product implementation.
* Work closely with director of the creative department to launch products and ensure their execution.
* Coordinate testing after release of new product to ensure that the product works as designed and address deficiencies as necessary.
* Manage the development of training materials and manuals on new product features. Support business users and utilize consumer feedback to improve product experience.
* Travel to Asia branch office and manufacturers.

ABILITIES/SKILLS:

* Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
* Critical thinking, problem solving, strategic, and creative.
* Bilingual Korean/English

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or comparable degree.
* MBA preferred.
* Experience working with consumer electronics, computer peripherals and accessories.
* Knowledge of consumer electronics industry.df-tc
