We have an immediate need for a Product Manager (VP Level)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the software architecture and development teams, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure client business needs and customer satisfaction goals are met. The product manager will also ensure that the product supports the companys overall strategy and goals. The product is a business process management application.
Responsibilities of the Product Manager:
Defines the product strategy and roadmap.
Establishes relationships and manages expectations of our diverse internal and external client base.
Is accountable for all projects and products with the core offering.
Manages the product teams responsible for the groups of offerings.
Develops and implements policies and procedures to solidify team practices and improve the release and implementation processes.
Owns the release and escalations processes for the diverse client base.
Owns the requirements engineering and project management practices within the team.
Works in partnership with development, quality assurance, and infrastructure to balance the product needs and delivery schedules.
Works with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
Runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
Is an expert with respect to the competition and market needs.
Is a leader within the company.
Works independently, with strategic direction from the product owner. Resolves most problems independently.
Mentors staff managers, growing talents within the team. Actively recruits and hires into the team.
The product manager has the most of the following experience and knowledge:
Minimum of five years experience as a product manager.
Demonstrated success defining and launching quality software products. Experience managing software in an explosive growth market, preferred.
Ten years experience in a job in the lending or servicing market, preferred. Or ten years experience as a product manager or software product professional.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.
Technical background, with experience managing Web applications in a rapid development environment.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past.
