Java Technical Skills
10+ years Java.
10+ years OOA/OOD.
Strong skills in high level application design, distributed enterprise systems design, framework design,
Strong understanding of Object Relational Mapping technology; Hibernate a plus.
Strong skills in concurrent design and concurrent programming in Java.
Strong communications skills.
Strong RMDBs/SQL skills.
Several years experience in computer modelling techniques, eg: financial modelling, finite element analysis, scientific modelling, 3-D modelling, physical modelling.
Good knowledge of concurrency and multi thread processing.
Good understanding of financial products.
Experience in other languages, technologies a big plus: c/c++, Objective-C, Groovy, Python, Ruby, Lua, Spring, Sun RPC, CORBA.
General Technical Skills
Knowledge of Unix commands and tools (ksh, awk, sed, vi, etc)
Very good knowledge of Ant
Autosys understanding and JILL setup
Knowledge of using SVN Repository
Nice to have: Understanding of Financial Data
Nice to have: Perl/Shell scripting
