Description
We have two Full time opportunities available for a Product Support Specialist. Position is located in Sanford, NC or Cary, NC. This position provides user and system support to UNIX, RMS, Focal Point and Quick Servant products. Provides technical support to all PDI host systems; investigates software difficulties with RMS, equipment failures and any other related problems; responds to the needs of RMS users. Installs, maintains, updates and documents UNIX systems; keeps system information up to date within network log; responds to the needs of UNIX users. Maintains FocalPoint server; checks weekly to ensure data integrity.

A solid understanding of UNIX-based operating system (with preferred specialization on SCO UNIX) is required. Experience with PDI software a must. A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing. Knowledge of computer software data retrieval, reporting application and Web services is preferred. Knowledge of computer software data retrieval, reporting application and Web services is preferred. Additional experience in XML is preferred. Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, prioritizes, meet deadlines and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service oriented environment. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (verbal/written) skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. Ability to effectively research, analyze and evaluate information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals.df-tc
