Description



Job description: Product Environmental Compliance

Job responsibilities entail independently performing chemical emission evaluations of electronic products operating in an environmental test chamber.



Experience as a Product Test Technician is required. Chemical Lab Technicians or Industrial Hygiene Technicians can work as well.



Proven ability to follow laboratory standard operating procedures is required.



Proficient environmental air sampling skills are required.



Will be required to prepare and maintain test equipment and chambers.



Basic knowledge of chemistry and mathematics is required.



Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining attention to detail is required.



Ability to operate low to high-end server and storage equipment software will be beneficial.



REQUIRED


Associate level degree in basic sciences, engineering, or related field.
One year of experience in a test laboratory, manufacturing test, or equivalent application
English: Fluent
Mathematics: Introductory algebra or higher
Chemistry: Introductory organic or general chemistry

PREFERRED


Bachelor level degree in basic sciences, engineering, or related field
American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist (CAIH)
Council on Certification of Health, Environmental, and Safety Technologists (CCHEST) Occupational Safety and Health Technologist (OSHT) or Associate Occupational Safety and Health Technologist (AOHST)
