Job Description

Our client is seeking a Production Support Analyst/Engineer.

Responsibilities:
  1. Incident management - logging, prioritizing and resolving incidents and track them against various SLAs.
  2. Problem management - resolving recurring incidents permanently, performing break fixes and implementing preventative action items.
  3. Configuration management - tracking the versions of key system artifacts and source code in version control software (CVS & ClearCase).
  4. Change Management - submitting change requests, documenting impact and benefits, obtaining approval by a change control board and managing the implementation using PAC2000.
  5. Integration Engineering Manage code deployments and migrations through the environment stack from Development, to SIT, to UAT, To Prod and BCP.
  6. Monitor system availability.
  7. Manage and support high-availability 24/7 production systems with an on call rotation.
  8. Research, develop, and deploy automation scripts and tools to improve the teams overall efficiency
  9. Document and execute disaster recovery processes.
  10. Follow proper escalations procedures.
  11. Excellent listening skills, self-starter, assertive, thorough, follows established procedures and the ability to meet deadlines
  12. Must be able to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.
  13. Manage projects in SharePoint.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Expert in Web Methods TN / Integration Server
  2. Expert in My Web Methods
  3. Expert in Web Methods Deployer
  4. Expert in Web Methods Optimize setup including KPI - s
  5. Expert with versioning tools such as Clearcase

Preferred skills:

  1. BS degree or equivalent in computer science or CIS with 4-6 years of directly related work experience.
  2. 3 to 4 years of production support experience.
  3. Understanding of multiple file formats such as XML, IDOC, EDI, and Flat File.
  4. Knowledge of webMethods and Itemfield mapping technologies.
  5. Strong SQL skills.
  6. Good problem solving skills.
  7. Good understanding of MS Office tools.
  8. Experience with Incident/Problem/Change tools like Remedy PAC2000 tool.
  9. Knowledge of using SharePoint with ability to customize workflows.
  10. Knowledge of Perl Scripting.
  11. Knowledge of WebLogic administration.
  12. Good understanding of ITIL concepts.
  13. Knowledge of various Transmission protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, NDM, MQ, and HTTPS.
  14. Previous experience in the Financial services industry.
  15. Expert in Unix Scripting / Perl in automating code deploys
  16. Expert understanding in Unix fundamentals
