Description
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Hardware/Software Integrations Engineer on a full time opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Marietta GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Integration Specialist will be directly responsible for supporting existing business and growing new sales of integration services in North America.
Day to day activities include supporting existing customers, representatives and direct sales personnel in technical subjects related to both software and hardware integration.
Presentation & consulting engagements at customers' premises as well as through Webex.
Project management of rollout of Integrated Solutions.
Installation and validation of software.

Key Strategic Responsibilities:
Delivery of consulting services
Project Management of integrated calibration solutions
Providing input for new products and product requirements for the US market
Translating feature requirements into engineering specifications
Defining supportability requirements
Office IT requirements

Key Tactical Responsibilities:
Support sales in identifying and accessing new target customers and new business areas within Integration Services
Working closely with existing key customers, lead customer in integration matters.
Undertaking networking in appropriate market sectors.

Key Operational Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance and growth of Support Contract business
Integration Sales Support as well as after sales support to end users and representatives
Integration
Validation
Dbase conversions
Training (where needed)

Technical Expertise:
C++ experience with Visual Studio and the .NET framework is required for this position .

1. Understanding of how relational databases are built and how they work (SQL Server and Oracle)
2. Visual Basic (Part of Visual Studio 2005 tool box) + Object Orientated programming skills
3. SQL (Structured Query Language)
4. C# (Part of Visual Studio 2005 tool box)
5. Understanding of .NET architecture

Ability to communicate technical ideas as written reports and oral presentations

Ability to provide technical leadership and direction to other engineers

Ability to thrive in a small team environment with jobs overlapping to support other team members as needed.

Qualifications:
BSc or Higher in related field of study.

Benefits:
Base Salary $50-60K + Bonus ($20K OTE)
Eligible for company profit share (up to 2 months of salary)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Computer Science Degree

Specific Experience:
Methodical remote troubleshooting, HW/SW system intergration, Dbase conversion- SQL/XML required (Oracle a plus).
