We currently have an opportunity for a Program Management Office (PMO) Analyst to have the responsibility to deploy processes that govern the management of the program and to ensure those processes are followed in a quality manner.

Job Description:

Facilitates and supports program management activities within the program. Has responsibility to deploy processes that govern the management of the program and to ensure those processes are followed in a quality manner. These processes include, but are not limited to, Risk Management, Scope Management, Issue Management, Quality Management, Performance Monitoring and Program Communication. The PMO provides the experience and knowledge necessary to assist the program and project managers in successfully managing and sustaining program efforts.

Core Responsibilities:

§ Establishes, communicates and enforces the compliance with program processes, policies and controls.

§ Tracks program level risks, issues, scope and timing changes.

§ Collects, maintains and produces program level status information on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly).

§ Maintains the program schedule.

§ Tracks and reports variances between program costs and budgets.

§ Maintains all program control processes/documentation as directed by internal audit processes.

§ Alerts management to all out-of-governance situations.

§ Schedules, organizes, and prepares material for all steering committee meetings.

§ Extends support, as required, in the form of coaching to release and project managers.

§ Moderates the effectiveness of program communication.

§ Ensure that reviews of all key documentation are conducted in a consistent and complete manner.

§ Ensures that the formal process (gate) to determine readiness to move from one development phase to the next is followed.

§ Recommends improvements regarding Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
