Salary: $125,000 - $150,000

Hiring Manager Notes: 
We are building a NEW Search Driven Ad Platform.  Size of this is HUGE - currently 200 MILLION searches per day and GROWING - so the person needs experience with very large systems. Critical to this Program Manager role is this person must have a Tech background and be able to PUSH this build. They also need to have experience with Ad networks of this size or comparable, as scalability is of major concern. Experience at Google (AdSense), Yahoo! (Overture), or Microsoft's ad platform would be ideal but we will look at others if they have built or worked on a high traffic ad network.

We have been retained by our client to find a highly talented Technical Product/Program Manager with extensive experience in online advertising for the development and launch of a cutting-edge AD DELIVERY PLATFORM.

The Program Manager will liaison between the San Francisco based technical team and the New York City office and will work with multiple groups, including engineering, business development, and senior management to generate requirements and drive the decision making process.

Other Responsibilities Include:
Working closely with the stake holders to understand the product needs
Defining features requirements and authoring Requirement specifications
Owning project schedules and driving deliverables to completion
Driving regular project meetings to ensure timely progress
Interfacing with senior management to provide weekly statuses ( this is a high visibility role)
Essentially be the CEO of the project

Required Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
Prior experience as a Technical Program/Product Manager (especially at Microsoft, Google, YouTube, Amazon, Ad Network)
Experience in Search Engine Marketing and/or Online Advertising
Knowledge of IAB Ad formats, Ads Campaign reporting , publisher integration challenges etc
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong Influential & leadership/ownership skills
Must be able to run meetings effectively and possess excellent organizational skills
Highly analytical with strong math skills
Must have a passion for driving projects through to completion.
Ability to listen carefully and execute in a high pressure environment
Good understanding of the project management discipline (knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, XP)
Experience with desktop client applications is ideal and so is dealing with terabytes of reporting data.

Currently the team size is 10 people, this team is growing rapidly and this position will interact with everyone. Communication skills are VERY important!

There will be 15% to 20% travel between NYC and San Francisco*df-tc
