Program Manager needed for 12 month contract with our premier client in Pleasanton , CA . This is with a major medical healthcare provider.
Position Description: - Experience with Telephone Expense Management (TEM) Program, a project that evaluates phone usage for cost savings.This includes implementing a TEM eProcurement Portal in 3 stages:
Part 1: Wireless/Mobile self service portal -Wireless/Data & Voice order portal -Pagers self service portal - Requirements gathering still underway
Part 2:Invoice Loading and Invoice Optimization with validation of the process to ensure sustainable
Part 3:Telecom Historical Audit has three processes:-Audit telecom bills and discover claims to submit back to telecom vendors-Approve discovered claims and submit to telecom vendors for reimbursement-Manage vendor validation until credits are issued or refunds received from telecom vendors
It will be critical to protect schedules already underway for the TEM eProcurement solution. The right candidate will understand and have experience managing similar programs in the past. They will know how to drive the Teleco vendors to issue credits and provide refunds. The right candidate will be able to assist with establishing sustainable support & governance model for the TEM Program to maintain the value the program can deliver in 2010. Also need excellent negotiation skills and great soft skills. Need to be politically savvy and able to work up and down the chain of command successfully.
Phase II could include circuit audits and negotiation with vendors on circuit savings and refunds based on national contracts and price reductions anticipated going forward.
Experience in Telecom Expense Management program in past a plus.
