Position Descrition: This team is seeking a solid Program Manager or Test Engineer to work on our Solution Developer Early Adopter Program. This person will be responsible for supporting development partners in that are building solutions on top of the vNext version.
Managing timely responses to developer support forums, escalating issues as necessary. Reviewing developer issues, investigating and reproducing them, identifying duplicates and working with the product team to make sure they are cataloged and addressed in a timely manner.
Coordinating weekly partner conference calls/meetings, including arranging topics and presenters and recording and distributing the presentations. Supporting the partner selection process and coordination of participation agreements and other start-up materials.
Supporting the external developer environment/sandbox, notifying partners of downtime or other issues, and working with product team, test and operations to maximum uptime and availability. Communicating with development partners via email, phone and IM
Monitoring incoming suggestions and forwarding them to the appropriate personnel. Working with Microsoft liaisons in several non-US markets to support pilot programs overseas. Gathering feedback on our developer documentation, tracking changes and helping research the answers as appropriate. Gathering data to build a FAQ document and other documents as necessary.
Survey partners to generate feedback on specific topics identified by the marketing and development teams.

Skills Required: Strong communications, coordination and negotiation abilities. Interest in helping small businesses, and developers that cater to that audience. Strong experience with Windows SharePoint Services, preferably WSS v3 Beta Debugging experience with web applications.
Understanding of the developer audience.

Plusses: FrontPage and SharePoint Designer 2007 beta. Development experience with WSS v3 Beta
Office 2007 - Access, Excel, Infopath, etc.
