    Perot Systems is currently looking for a Program/Project Management Director to join the Insurance Solutions group in Lincoln, NE.

    Job Responsibilities:
  • Interface with executive level client personnel and the account senior leadership team.
  • Develop and implement project management organization strategy.
  • Oversee process development and implementation while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project change management administration.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction by delivering strong project performance and predictable, repeatable project results.
  • Generate concise and accurate integrated account-level project and program status reporting. Provide ad-hoc project-related reports and data as required by stakeholders. Own necessary meetings and workshops (set agendas, facilitate meetings, and deliver minutes).
  • Manage financial P&L for PMO area including accurately forecasting costs, operating within established budgets and attaining margin improvement objectives.
  • Perform project performance measurement and analysis.
  • Provide direction and standards for consistent project management tool utilization.
  • Establish and maintain Project Manager Development program focused on motivating project managers to establish PM competencies, improve professional skill levels and attain recognized certifications.
  • Implement Project Management standards and best-practices based on measurable success criteria.

    Required Skills:

  • Successful candidate must have completed and currently hold PMP certification; PMI membership and participation.
  • Previous insurance industry experience and knowledge are required, specifically dealing with life insurance and annuity products.
  • Ten years progressive experience with Project and Program Management experience working within a project-centric and project matrix environments.
  • Five years program leadership experience within a large corporate IT operating environment.
  • Proven track record of successful enterprise-level project management results.
  • Experience introducing and implementing Project Management processes and standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Understanding and proficient use of industry standard project management tools - Microsoft Project, Project Server, Primavera, all Microsoft Office applications, etc.
  • Ability to evaluate and develop exceptional project management talent.

    Desired Skills:
  • Advanced university degree (MBA).

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University.

    Minimum Certifications or Professional Credentials
  • Candidate must have PMP Certification.
