Description
Development of (primarily software coding) of a specialized video editing system built around a commercial-of-the-shelf, PC-based Digitial Video Recorder (DVR) system. The programmer's duties will include: translating C and possibly Matlab code into reliable C++ and Java code for Windows, developing applications with Graphical User Interfaces and multiple video windows, developing plug-ins (in C/C++ and Java) for and customizing the PC-DVR application software.

Requirements:

Required experience and expertise:MFC or Java based GUI programming (Java2D, Swing, Java Events) Microsoft Visual Studio and C++ Application Development using third party Windows or Java based API/SDKAdditional Desired experience and expertise:Application development using PC-based Digital Video Recording cards/hardware Video editing on the PC Matlab Software control of multiple PTZ cameras
