Berean Group is seeking a Programmer Analyst

Position Description:

Production Support. Looking for a Programmer Analyst with extensive production support experience to support a new applications system that transports credit card operations to payment clearing house. Resources will be providing application / system level support for the Electronic Payment Switch which has just gone into Production.

Candidate will be responsible to unpackage application to find out what may be going wrong and interface them with legacy applications. The job requires off-hours pager support but the support will be rotated throughout the team. Each person will be required to carry the off-hours pager about 1 week per month.

Skills needed:

Must Have:

-Experience with 7x24 Tier 1 application support and triage 1+ years
-Experience with Tier 1 application incident management response processes 1+ years -
-Oracle 10g 1+ years

Nice to have:

-Proficient of J2-EE and Websphere 1+ years

Location: Bay Area
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Start Date: July 7th
