The Edward Jones Information Systems (IS) division is seeking an individual for a Programmer Analyst - Customer Reporting position that will design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software programs.

Responsibilities:
-Assist in research and fact-finding to develop or enhance systems.
-Prepare detailed software specifications.
-Utilize mainframe technologies (COBOL etc.).
-Work with team members to formulate and define system scope and objectives.

Qualified applicants will have:
-Bachelors Degree in computer science, MIS, or computer engineering, or equivalent IS experience.
-One or more years of experience with Unix and COBOL.
-Experience with C++, Javascript, or Web technologies is preferred.
-Ability to create quality software in a mainframe environment.
-Effective as an individual contributor or in a team environment.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Self motivated, with excellent time management practices.
-Ability to make progress on several assignments simultaneously.



Experience/Skills
