Programmer Analyst (MVS/Cobol/Insurance)

Sick of bad news? Try this - Our client has NEVER had a layoff in their 70 year history! Due to growth, they need to hire experienced P/A's for their Insurance applications. They just hired two more people from us and they need 4 more.

NOTE: There is only one Insurance company hiring Mainframe programmers in Columbia, MO. Please, do not send them your Resume and also apply to our ad.

Client is located in a part of the USA (Columbia, MO) with a very low cost of living index. They will NOT pay more than $50 - 70K base.

Requirements for us to contact you:

• You have ties to the Midwest (you/your spouse went to school here, grew up here, etc).zero negotiation on this!
• 5 years programming in COBOL and CICS in an OS/MVS env't
• 3 years Insurance (Life or P&C) apps
• Your job history is mostly Full time perm jobs. Being a contractor by choice is different than taking contract jobs b/c of necessity. This client will not hire the "contractor by choice" profile for their Full time jobs.
