Description
Our client located just outside of Madison is looking for a Visual Basic Programmer to help maintain and create in-house, custom, applications for a 2-3+ month contract basis. We have had consultants there longer than the initial contract period. These applications are done in either Visual Basic 6 or Visual Basic .NET. Some Applications will require porting from version 6 to .NET on a priority basis. These applications perform various automated tasks and will primarily lie between the ERP and manufacturing systems. There are 2 opportunities. While both are development roles, one would be validation and quality assurance focused. A great opportunity to add some diversity to your resume.

Experience/Skills
Qualified candidates should have 2+ years of development experience using Visual Basic 6 and Visual Basic .NET. Additional experience with MS SQL is also needed. Good communication skills are needed and being able to work in a team environment is also required. Working autonomously and being self-driven is a plus. Attention to detail is needed.
