Programmer Analyst

For this contract-to-hire position, you will assist this HMO organization in creating and modifying business tools that will provide world-class services to the membership and provider partners. You will help the company better process data, communicate with providers and members, exchange and receive information, and provide an overall higher level of service to members and affiliate entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating efficient and logical databases for clients
  
• Designing and coding superior technical solutions
  
• Recognizing system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions
  
• Creating and executing project work plans
  
• Communicating and enforcing coding standards
  
• Consistently delivering high-quality services to clients
  
• Adhering to technical documentation standards defined by IT management
  
• Coding applications that process efficiently and accurately
  
• Assisting in the facilitation of team and client meetings
  
• Delivering informative and well-organized presentations
  
• Employing many different database design techniques
  
• Creating well designed, reusable objects
  
• Managing the process of innovative change
  
• Facilitating effective team interaction
  
• Communicating with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  
• Training employees through formal and informal training programs

• 3+ years related work experience
  
• Experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, ASP, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, SQL 2000, T-SQL, ADO, ADO.NET, COM, and DCOM
  
• Experience with Microsoft Access
  
• Experience with Windows Operating systems (2000 Professional, 2000 server, 2003 Server, XP Professional)
  
• Experience with Internet Information Services 5.0, SQL Reporting, and Crystal Reports 8.0
  
• Knowledge of at least one structured programming language
  
• Knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures
  
• Understanding of the benefits of various programming languages
  
• Understanding of browser specific compatibility issues
  
• Understanding of the benefits of various design methodologies and object oriented environments
  
• Willingness to be on call up to 10 days per month
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
  
• Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) is preferred
