Description
Our client, a world class manufacturing company in Anaheim, is seeking a SQL Software Developer to perform requirements planning, project definition, software development, testing, implementation and support for a variety of software development platforms. The primary task will involve supporting the engineering teams across several divisions performing the development of routing rules for the rules-based engineering platform.Duties and Responsibilities:- Strong knowledge with software development methodology- Understanding of fundamental development concepts including variables, conditional statements, looping constructs, testing methods and debugging- Understanding of the development life cycle including design, planning, development, testing, implementation, training, support and maintenance- Working knowledge of SQL including queries, functions and stored proceduresEducation and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience• 2+ years of IT experience.• 1+ years experience on MS-SQL Databases• Experience with Crystal reporting is a plus• Experience with.NET or other Web development languages is a plus• Background in a manufacturing environment is a plus
