Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Programmer Analyst for a contract to direct position in downtown Chicago.

Under the direction of the Director of Business Processes, the Programmer Analyst will be responsible for developing streamlined workflows and forms for various business processes and for assisting with document management across all departments. The database in current use is a SQL-based program called Feith that primarily uses a GUI interface for the creation of forms and workflows. Specific experience with Feith, although preferred, is not required.

Duties:

Create and administer Feith workflows in Workflow Manager
Create and administer Feith Web forms in FormsIQ and Dreamweaver
Create appropriate JavaScript code to enhance the forms as needed
Work with other IT staffs (eg, PeopleSoft) on data integration issues
Work with the SQL DBA on Feith issues
Assist with planning for overall document imaging, document management, and data warehousing
Assist with configuration of new software
Assist with documentation of the process

Job Requirements:

Experience:

SQL Programming is required
Bachelor's Degree is required
3-5 years of database management preferred
3-5 years of Web site administration is preferred
Workflow programming preferred

Skills:

Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office required
Knowledge of SQL Programming required
Knowledge of HTML and XML required
JavaScript programming preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Positive team-oriented disposition
Ability to learn software quickly
Self-Motivated
Ability to work independently and on a team
Diligence in meeting deadlines
