InfoTech Resources is seeking candidates for a Programmer/Analyst . This is a direct hire position in Jackson , MS . The Programmer Analyst is responsible for preparing new programs and program modifications using supplied or developed functional program specifications for new and revised systems. Also, the incumbent is responsible for designing and executing appropriate testing, debugging and support processes in accordance with departmental policy.
Requirements
Minimum of four years of Mainframe programming experience is required in COBOL, MVS utilities, MVS JCL and CICS Command Level programming.
Minimum of two years of Mainframe programming experience is required using SDLC Methodology and Change Control software.
One year of Mainframe systems analysis experience is required.
Two or more years of Mainframe programming experience in DB2 is preferred.
Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field, or at least four years in equivalent work experience, is preferred.
Working familiarity with Easytrieve and/or other computer languages, including ISPF, is preferred.
Proficiency in LAN, Intermediate Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio is highly preferred.
Must demonstrate familiarity in Business Writing, Project Management, Time Management and Conflict Resolution and Teamwork concepts and practice.
