This would be a long term contract position.

Requirements:

3+ years experience Excellent programming skills using C, C++ Strong communication and presentation and multi-tasking skills. Effectively work in a team environment. quick thinker, aggressive, and willing to think out of the box to accomplish goals. Creative, persistent, and possess problem-solving skills that avoid project stalls. Able to come up to speed and be productive quickly after joining a new organization. Excellent debugging skills to track crashes and memory corruption in embedded devices. Extensive experience in specification writing, analysis, design and development methodologies of software products required. Knowledge of breaking complex business cases into software modules and identifying the inter process messaging/communications between the modules. Ability to test code and algorithms using diverse techniques and tools PREFERRED Brew application development experience (strongly preferred). Experience with the OS kernel programming (such as process scheduling) and performance improvements in the embedded space. Knowledge of Clear case and Clear quest. Knowledgeable in coding standards, quality evaluation and code analysis tools. Experience in Unix environment (scripting languages such as Perl, shell scripting etc...) Design Knowledge of object oriented design. Data modeling knowledge with Rational Rose or other design tools. UML experience to specify, visualize and design the software artifacts
