Description
Programmer HP 3000 / MPE/iX Thorough disciplined reliable self-starter with at least 3 - 5 years of work experience with HP 3000, MPE/iX, Image, and Transact. Thorough knowledge of MPE/iX tools and Transact is required. Some systems integration / RPC programming, and knowledge of DATA Express is desirable. - Thorough knowledge of Microsoft tools, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. - Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, including stores, purchasing and maintenance and related accounting. EDI and a working knowledge of SOX a plus - This position will code changes to the Maintenance Materials Management System in our test environment, and also create new programs and Job streams. o Ability to identify problems and perform enhancements to a highly complex and customized manufacturing maintenance system o Ability to read existing largely undocumented code a must o Ability to create and execute test scripts o Ability to work with a diverse team of individuals in a fast paced manufacturing environment o Ability to learn quickly and apply present skills to unique integration challenges o Ability to work quickly to achieve results
