JOB DUTIES:
Develop and maintain mission load databases and data displays utilizing telemetry test data management systems, display development applications and other common and specialized utilities as required. Coordinate with various flight test customer and data production personnel to determine data processing and display requirements and implement those requirements into functional system support files. Work in conjunction with customer and operations personnel as required to validate the integrity of support files. Track and document changes to mission support files and displays. Provide mission control room and data processing system operational support to include loading and verifying the operation of various data analysis and processing routines, updating and distributing files, coefficients and displays as required. Automate processes utilizing common scripting and high-level languages. Train junior level personnel in the above duties. Daily work schedule and work week varies according to the flight test schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics or a related field and 2 years of direct experience or 6-8 years education and technical training/direct experience combined.
- Applicant must possess knowledge of general-purpose computer and operating systems and utilities to include personal computer and UNIX based systems in a networked environment.
- Applicant must have knowledge of common scripting languages.
- Applicant must possess a working knowledge of high-level computer languages to include C, C++.
- Applicant must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Applicant must possess strong inter-personal relationship skills and be able to work independent of direct supervision or as a member of a team.
- Applicant must possess very good written and verbal communications skills and must have strong organizational skills.
- Applicant must be able to work under the pressure of tight schedules, deadlines and changing requirements on a daily basis. Bending, stooping and lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Negative pre-employment drug test required.

Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain up to a top-secret security clearance and special program access.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to those minimum qualifications listed above, applicant knowledge of and experience with computer based display development tools such as DataViews is desirable. Specific experience utilizing IRIX and Sun OS based systems and any knowledge of common telemetry processing concepts and methods is a plus as are system administration and networking skills. Applicants who hold or have previously held DoD security clearances are desirable.df-tc
