Description
This position is within a strong team developing next generation 3d CAD system for building architecture, engineering and construction. Our goal is to revolutionize the way architects and other building industry professionals create, convey and manage their digital designs.
The opening is for a senior software engineer specializing in import/export/data exchange with other CAD systems and related software.

Qualified candidate will:
  • Design, implement and troubleshoot new product features according to functional specifications in such areas as support of DWF and DWF3d formats and interoperability with Autodesk Architectural Desktop;
  • Work with Product Management to transform functional requirements into implementation specs;
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing functionality (import/export to DWG, DXF, DGN formats).


Requirements:
  • Three years or more programming experience in C++; excellent object oriented design and programming skills;
  • Experience in transforming end user requirements into software designs;
  • Understanding of CAD methodology and practices, experience in modeling application programming;
  • Good knowledge of at least one CAD format (DWG, DXF, DGN desirable) and experience in hands-on implementation of import/export functionality;
  • A Bachelor?s degree or above in computer science or mathematics;
  • Good problem solving skills and creative thinking;
  • Ability to quickly learn legacy code;
  • Make-it-happen attitude and ability to function in a team atmosphere adhering to established development process and programming discipline.
