The Programmer/Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for employing advanced level programming and design techniques that ensure adherence to software development standards, performance efficiency, reliable and maintainable codes, and self-documenting programs. Employees should have a thorough understanding of application development, methodologies and techniques. This position will work in the Development Information System's group and will be responsible for software development and technical support for Filemaker Pro applications and potentially other applications within the Development organization. Specific responsibilities include documenting and maintaining codes, developing large programs, and providing timely and effective response and follow-through in the resolution of production/ system availability/ response time issues. Employees will be responsible for using judgment within defined policies and practices, creating detailed/ accurate system designs for medium to large sized projects or portions of larger intricate projects. In addition, the position will involve creating installation instructions, supporting systems to ensure client acceptance, and developing, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting components of the information systems applications. Programmer/Systems Analysts will also track and report on the status of project plans in a timely and accurate manner, and adhere to policies and practices relative to technical guidelines and change management processes. Additional responsibilities include understanding complex business processes and transforming them into programming logic, as well as working on problems of a broad scope where analysis of situations or data requires the evaluation of factors that may not be easily identifiable. This position will also be responsible for demonstrating experience producing technical documentation as it relates to the SDLC, initiating projects and preparing and executing plans for Filemaker Pro systems. Working well in teams and mentoring other associate programmer/system analysts are also required. The individual may serve as a business analyst and or engage in vendor management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer relationship skills. Candidates may be required to attend conferences, seminars and acquire appropriate certifications for Filemaker Pro. df-tc

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (Must Have All 6)
1. BA Degree
2. 4 years software development with Filemaker Pro
3. Experience developing Filemaker Pro web based applications and plug-ins
4. Experience migrating Filemaker Pro databases from an older version to an updated version
5. Must demonstrate advanced technical skills, including coding, GUI design, should demonstrate advanced technical skills, including coding, GUI design, data analysis, database logical & physical design, quality assessment and debugging (logs)
6. A working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (Should have 75% of the following)

. Familiar with entity relationships, flowcharting, schema analysis, definition & documentation, troubleshooting, unit testing, and Web technology
. Working knowledge of third party tools or tools for the preferred system (Basic Windows shell scripting, Cognos, ReportNet, Documentum, Erwin, ClearCase, ClearQuest, SQL, MS Access, PHP, Excel VBA, and or Trackwise). Note* Documentum is important.
