Position summary:
The Programmer will assist current team to create new Web Services framework for data transmission between Accurate Background and their clients and vendors. This includes new integrations utilizing XML data transmission, new development and maintenance. Company is currently migrating from legacy systems to complete J2EE environment utilizing JBOSS, Struts and Hibernate in addition to Web Services. Experience with XML, Web Services and Java required. Experience with new technologies such as JBOSS, Struts and Hibernate a bonus.

Duties and responsibilities:
*Assist development of Web Services platform and framework.
*Develop and maintain as directed new integrations/systems.
*Work with staff and system users to define requirements for the generation system.
*Assist with migration of batch processing from legacy systems to new framework for batch, file transfers and FTP services.
*Create detailed functional and technical requirement documents before commencing with coding.
*Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Experience/Skills
Experience must include:

1-5 Years experience in programming, 2-4 Years XML knowledge & experience, 2-3 Years Relational database experience & 1-2 Years Web Service experience

plus:

Developing Internet related applications experience using HTML, Struts, J2EE, and Java Script
Microsoft Windows 2000 XP
Microsoft Access, JSP knowledge helpful
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Self-starter
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented.
