Description
Our client in the financial industry needs a Project Administrator - if you have system administration experience - it is an ideal fit. This position is going to require someone to work closely with IT to keep track of IT projects, IT project schedules and checklists of activities that need to happen and be followed up for status reporting. You will need to have great organizational skills and be able to write & track communications such as status reports, project schedules, project plans including timelines and checklists. Someone who is well versed in server and networking hardware and inter-operability is best because these IT projects will require you to be able to speak with various vendors. Familiarity with the client technical environment will include: Data center management and design Good knowledge of VMWare ESX and general comfort with enterprise use of virtualization Strong familiarity with VOiP telephony systems, preferably Avaya.
