The Project Management Coordinators perform a variety of PMO tasks to support the PMO activities, enhancement project and operations activities and customer deliverables. This individual should be one with a desire to advance into Project Management.
Major Position Responsibilities:
1. Reconcile system changes planned to system changes executed and support the Chance Control process.
2. Administer Project Portal for MS MMIS and folder management.
3. Coordinates PMO work plan reviews.
4. Coordinates PMO risk assessment reviews.
5. Performs RFP, proposal and MS MMIS Document research as requested.
6. Coordinates and schedules weekly project team and staff reviews and status meetings.
7. Perform operational and systems process definition and documentation as requested.
8. Ensures collection of all periodic project required documents (timesheets, work plan updates, etc.).
9. Distributes project documentation to project team members.
10. Supports the Alaska Project Quality Assurance Program in fulfilling all day-to-day job responsibilities.
11. Supports the Alaska Project Management Methodology to ensure efficient on time delivery and high quality results.
12. Supports the goals and objectives of the Alaska Medicaid Program and works within area of responsibility to ensure success

Minimum Requirements:
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Present a positive attitude and appearance.
3. Dependability and excellent attendance record.
4. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio.
5. A with SharePoint
6. A desire to advance towards Project Management
7. Ability to be flexible and work as a team member.
8. Advanced organizational skills and decision-making ability.
9. Minimum of 2 years experience in a Medicaid or health care administration environment.
10. A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment managing multi-task.
