Description
The Project Controls Specialist is a position that will be encompassed under the National Project Management Office. The PC manager is accountable to ensuring that each region is updating scheduled projects daily, and is utilizing the most up-to-date software editions. PC Specialist is responsible for analyzing data daily, escalating errors and omissions, and implementing corrective action plans to regions. Weekly reporting required on schedule, project counts. and regional workloads to the PMO is required. Interfacing with internal Finance teams to ensure Cost to Complete to current regional counts is in alignment. In addition the role The role will require an excellent understanding of Wireless cell site networks and good project management techniques. The candidate shall have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and can communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Manager experience and being a proven team player are required of the candidates. The Project Control Specialist role will require some nation wide travel. Qualifications; h Bachelors degree h 2-5 years of Wireless Cell site experience. h Strong computer software skills. knowledge of multiple wireless vendor base stations. h Basic Project Management experience and understanding of project management fundamentals. h Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to quickly learn new software programs. Basic Responsibilities; h Support Operations, Finance and National PMO teams. h Distribute weekly and quarterly National Scheduling reports graphically depicting past/present/future performance. h Develop and support new processes for information flow. h Provide corrective action plans or direction to problematic markets. h Provide quarterly reports on team performance, staffing requirements, and technology developments.
