Title: Project Coordinator Duration: 10/25/06 to 11/28/06 POSITION SUMMARY The Premium Content Project Coordinator has a key role in the day-to-day production operations for Online video production team. This role is responsible for providing coordination support include organization, tracking, and problem solving of the various scheduling, asset management, vendor relationship, and resource issues associated with web and video production. Duties will include a combination of both long-term responsibilities and short-term projects. The ideal Coordinator is proactive, flexible, organized, and discreet, with a positive work attitude, the ability to work well independently, initiate change and improvements where applicable, and multitask on a regular basis. Superior attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule and coordinate content updates Schedule and coordinate media updates Update the traffic report Update the E-Mail report Coordinate video production tasks Update the video project list Update the A/V team calendar Update the video production calendar Coordinate media library Check in new media Check out requested media Update the tape library database Coordinate equipment resource management Conceive, develop, write, assign, and line edit copy Effectively and efficiently manage content and editorial review of the site. Help to create and maintain development schedules and reports Help to generate ideas for improving community engagement and satisfaction with the site, content presentation and organization, and usability Assist in writing functional specifications and quality assurance test plans for Web site deployments Help to obtain legal, editorial and management approvals Manage the flow of assets and information between teams and team members. QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION Two years experience in web content production. Solid understanding of the Internet and the technologies employed; extensive familiarity with, and appreciation of, the Internet as a tool to inform and inspire. Ability to use online traffic tracking tools and interpret data for editorial decision making. Ability to use online publishing system for programming and reviewing web pages. Established communication, people, presentation and organizational skills. Understanding of Brand development very helpful. Must set and achieve the highest standards. Passion for the online video product and for new technologies. Strong sense of ownership and urgency; take-charge personality and problem-solver. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines. Team player, who is also able to work efficiently and effectively when producing independently SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Experience producing content for targeted audience. Creative writing aptitude and excellent editorial execution, including attention to grammatical errors. Self starter and multi-tasker; ability to handle multiple priorities and projects. Team player with strong communication skills. Attention to detail a must. Have a working knowledge of HTML and access data bases; must be familiar with project management software including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word. Must be focused on guest experience and quality.
