Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator will report to the Sr Director, Care Solutions and Relationship Management. He / She will support the relationship management team along with production control and process improvement and other Care Channel support.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project deliverables/documentation such as project vision/scope, work breakdown structure, work plan, budget, issues list, risk, testing plans, conversion plans, requirements, use cases, test cases and training plans as necessary for all project assignments
Provide support to the Care Relationship Team and/or business owner for all assigned projects.
Overall project administration as related to project deliverables/documents, project meetings and project resources.
Facilitate resolution of issues by following up with the responsible parties and ensuring they gain closure on all assigned issues. Also provide visibility to the project team regarding issue management/status.
Draft project status reports for final review by Sr Director and Directors within the team
maintain project schedule, assigned tasks, project deliverables, milestones and required task (typically using MS Project).
Develop and then maintain project documentation that also includes working with IT teammates to ensure the appropriate system documentation is developed and maintained.
Ensure that all project deliverables are consistent with Asurion methodology and best practices.
Participate in and administer continuous project risk analysis and monitor required coorective actions.
Key participant in coordination of all testing-related activities; including test planning, test case development, determining test data requirements, documenting expected results and all defect management activities.
Coordinate all communication and training activities.
Coordinate any turn-over process from the project to the departments/individuals that are the logical ultimate owners.
Contribute to the creation, management and reporting of performance metrics and measurements to track project performance acceptance, cost and profitability.

Qualifications:
Diploma, with some college coursework.
Experience as a project team member or coordinator/administrator for change efforts. Project experience from corporate/work settings.
Ability to simultaneously keep multiple activities active and progressing to completion.
Superior problem solving, communication and negotiation skills including effective leadership, planning and motivational capabilities.
Understanding of how to leverage business applications for competitive advantage.
Proficiency in project management tools and procedures; strong people management and conflict resolutions skills.
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that established rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
Experience with the MS Office Suite with exposure to MS Project, Visio and SharePoint
