Project Lead - Lawson HR/Payroll Systems

Link Technologies is currently looking for a Project Lead - Lawson HR/Payroll System to join our team. This is a contract to hire assignment with a large client in Las Vegas, NV. The successful candidate will work as a project lead or senior team member to provide business analysis, project management, and technology support for implementing and maintaining applications in the Lawson HR/Payroll area systems.

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience in all aspects of the project and development life cycle and a good understanding of technologies and development tools used by the Team are essential to perform the role.
  • Special emphasis is given for ability to identify, understand, analyze and document business practices and translate them into functional system requirements.
  • Candidates are required to have the ability to work closely with customers and project team members throughout the project life cycle.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, follow structured development methodology and excellent communication skills.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as project lead tasked with implementing and maintaining applications from start to end of the project life-cycle.
  • Experience in a formal development methodology and good project documentation.
  • Experience with HR/Payroll applications and other related functions including time-entry, training administration, etc. Experience with Lawson HR/Payroll Systems a major plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze and solve problems are important to the position.
  • Must be an excellent team player and work well with various types of customers as well as team members and technical staff (systems administration, DBA, etc).
  • Requires good understanding and experience in major development tool sets including Oracle (PL/SQL, Forms, etc), Visual Basic and web-tools (HTML, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience and familiarity with report writers and business analytic tools. Experience using Crystal and Cognos considered a plus.
  • Experience using project management tools. Experience using PlanView considered a plus.
