PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This position coordinates the delivery of various corporate initiatives, facilitates in the vendor relationship with DST as well as coordinates the allocation of resources from DST and TRPIT to various projects. Additionally this position reports to the business and management on overall efficiencies savings throughout the calendar year.

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the Retail Operations team in defining their business needs and determining how to meet these needs in a manner that will continue to move the business forward. The value this role brings to T. Rowe Price is that there will be a centralized resource that will be in contact with all levels of Retail Management as well as the DST organization who will be responsible for developing an action plan that will allow for more efficient processing and cost savings to the organization while providing world class service to the associates and TRP client base.

The individual in this role will face various challenges such as working with the management team and business units to agree on overall project priorities along with working within the Business Solutions Group, DST and Applications Management to insure skilled resources are available to assist in completing the project work as well as supporting this in a production environment.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Primarily responsible for oversight of large projects for the business. Coordinates the development of business requirements, testing plans and overall business resources to support project deliverables. Manages budgets, hours and leverages other associates in BSG on various aspects of projects. Indirectly manages associates on a daily basis as related to the projects that position oversees.

* Partners with the FIS business unit and other Operations groups as needed to analyze, assess business needs, define new development efforts and understand business priorities within the business unit, as well as discuss overall corporate initiatives with management. Owns projects and manages the effort giving updates to management as required.

*Coordinates reporting of savings and project prioritization across Retail Operations. Coordinates all efficiency savings efforts in BSG and Retail Operations into one document that is presented on a quarterly basis to management. Works with the line managers on their efforts, calculation consistency across departments and quality review.

* Maintains detailed working knowledge of the DST TA 2000 system and supports the implementation of various projects
and is capable of providing support to the Applications Management team.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Four-year college degree or 5 years work experience preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities preferred.
* Experience using Systems Development methodologies preferred.
* Experience with Financial Institution Services preferred.
* Experience in managing associates preferred
* Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and organization skills preferred.
* Excellent analytical skills and detailed oriented; the ability to review and identify relevant intention of proposals, system reports and technical documents preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfort level with interaction with all levels of internal staff and external customers preferred.
* Self-motivated and self-reliant. Ability to work independently and take initiative with assigned projects preferred.
* Strong Project Management skills preferred.
* Flexible in work schedule: ability to work overtime as required preferred.
* Self-motivated and self-reliant while possessing experience in successfully leading a cross-functional, cross-site teams
* Strong execution abilities and proven to have delivered results
* Opportunity minded - proven to have applied creative solutions in problem solving
* Proven ability to form and foster strong positive business relationships
* Knowledge of the system's development life cycle
* Interested in working with Retail and Retirement System initiatives and working knowledge of those applications
* College degree and two years of related work experience, or a minimum of 6 years related work experience required
