Description
The Project Leader will be responsible for managing full lifecycle Web Based projects. This person will manage teams comprised of developers and business analysts. The focus of this position will be leading development and maintenance efforts involving transaction-based products that utilize multi-tier architectures running Java, J2EE, Websphere, and UNIX based environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Responsible for all deliverables within the software lifecycle.
*Manage assigned project(s); scope, schedule, plan, budget, risks, and issue resolution.
*Effectively form and manage a project team.
*Produce project documentation, including formal proposals, feasibility studies, and status reports.
*Manage vendor relationships in augmentation and outsourcing assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS
*College degree and four years of related work experience, OR a minimum of eight years related work experience
*Demonstrated experience in leading projects
*Demonstrated experience in budgeting, resource management, estimating, and project planning
*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
*Self-directed and effectively handle multiple tasks
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Demonstrated experience in delivering team appraisals
*4 year degree preferred
*Familiar with Client Server environments
*Software development lifecycle experience
*Ability to work well with people of varying levels of technical abilities
*Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
*Flexibility to lead outside of assigned team (e.g. matrixed environment)df-tc
