Description
Our client, a major provider within the HealthCare Industry is looking for a Project Management Associate to come aboard this six month plus engagment.

As a Project Management Associate you will augment a team of 5-7 members, actively support the deployment and installation of the EPIC system at Baldwin Park and also act as project leader for the customer on assigned projects.

Top Daily responsibilities include:

* Conduct customer interviews to migrate to Windows 2000
* Attend meetings
* Work with Project Team members acting as local hospital contacts with our hospital departments

Other Responsibilities include:

* Support the medical center customers who will be utilizing the new Epic application which is currently being installed.
* Interview hospital administration in preparation for their new MWI/XD image.
* Monitor deployments of client PC's.
* Attending various steering committees representing IT and the project.
* Attend monthly project status meetings, giving input on the projects
* Monitor the implementation of projects working with various IT groups, interfacing between IT and the customer.
* Act as a team member on various project initiatives.
* Build partnerships with our local medical center customers by supporting their business needs by acting as client advocate, the interface between customer and IT.
* Will monitor and track the implementation of client’s new web-based clinical systems application.

The chosen candidate will be taught client’s Project Management Methodologies.

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:

* Overall experience level of 4-6 years
* Interpersonal/People skills
* Windows 2000 OS (as an end user)
* Knowledge/Lotus Notes (as an end user)
* Ability to build business relationships with our customers, good listening skills.
* Project Management Methodologies

Nice to Have Skills:

* Previous experience, preferably in a medical center environment.
* Basic knowledge of telephony, desktop, networking.

* Posses a positive, professional attitude
* Professional bearing and leadership

* Able to function independently, self-starter.
