PSC is currently looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our team in Ontario, CA.

Up to 25% Travel with this position

Position Responsibilities include the following ::
  • Managing projects in a matrix environment throughout the enterprise. Projects will be technical in nature and will include technical aspects of office moves and relocations.
  • Workload prioritization and management of resources, both on large initiatives and small projects.
  • Conducting Project Initiation Workshops (PIW) and Project Planning Workshops (PPW) for assigned technical projects.
  • Creating and maintaining the project schedule, deliverables, budget, issues, and risks for assigned projects.
  • Attaining and utilizing project resources in a matrix organization.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors, project team, account team, and site IT staff.
  • Tracking progress and variances and mitigating risk and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Inspiring confidence by providing timely and accurate status.
  • Delivery of projects on time and within budget

    Required Skills:
  • Minimum of three years experience managing technical deployment projects, strong knowledge and hands-on experience in applying methodologies, proficiency with MS Project, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding project level requirements for server and/or network related efforts
  • Ability to work with matrix workgroups
  • Minimum two years of experience in working with desk side management and support
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with all levels of client leadership
  • Must be a leader with a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills for internal teams and clients

    Desired Skills:
  • 4-5 years of related and progressive experience in project management. Network and/or server specific skills are beneficial
  • Demonstrated leadership attributes such as strategic thinking, drive business change, sharing of organizational goals, leading multidisciplinary groups
  • Proven ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, budgetary skills, and effective communication
    and presentation skills
  • Project Management Methodology experience

    Education:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in information technology or general business

    Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • PMP Certification a strong plus
