Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Providence, RI.

Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will manage the creation and delivery of discrete deliverables directly to customers as well as providing leadership, assistance and advice to customers. They are responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements with a major emphasis on management and coordination tasks.

Manage Perot Systems, customer and third-party vendor resources while ensuring good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used throughout the engagement to deliver an integrated solution.

The PM will operate in a matrix to ensure the successful completion of the projects. The PM will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all PM deliverables including, but not limited to scope documentation, project schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and budget tracking sheets. The PM will act as the customer's single point of contact for their projects and must be able to report project status on a pre-determined cycle.

Required Skills:
  • Experience managing IT projects
  • Experience managing projects in a Healthcare or Finance environment
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects at once
  • Experience workign with external vendors
  • Experience with PM tools, such as MS Project or Primavera

    Desired Skills:
  • Good communication skills
  • Consulting/Outsourcing experience

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Advanced degree a plus

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • PMP certification

    Preference given to local candidates; relocation not offered at this time
