Description
Responsibilities:
The project manager provides overall project management for all the department's security programs and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, leading projects of an implementation nature, sharing knowledge with colleagues, and managing relationships. The PM determines all requirements to formulate a project plan for successful accomplishment. The project manager will perform risk assessments and develop scenarios to mitigate risk while still meeting required timelines. Performs analyses and issues resolutions of business and project requirements.

Specific duties within this position include:
a) Provides project management for all client (internal) initiated projects, from initial discussions to implementation.
b) Leads, manages, monitors, and mentors the performance of the project resources assigned to ensure client quality and satisfaction.
c) Ensures timely delivery of IS projects within agreed upon timeframes, as set forth through the company?s system development life cycle (SDLC) methodology. Daily interaction with all project stakeholders is required to discuss project requirements, issues and other project related items through the project life cycle.
d) Manages and tracks multiple projects and reports using best practices for the client through TSYS software tools and approved documentation.
e) Works closely with project related areas and assists in facilitating meetings to ensure understanding of the client?s requirements.
f) Applies knowledge and skills in the coordination of problem solving efforts with various TSYS departments.
g) Coordinates with key stakeholders regarding details/issues pertaining to project items, and delivery schedules
h) Ensures projects follow the TMM methodology and standards.

Required Skills:
Four year college degree and 6 or more year?s professional experience or 8 or more year?s professional experience is required without a degree. Candidate must have previous experience managing teams or projects. They must possess
excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. They must be able to conduct problem solving analysis and present issues and solutions, clearly and concisely. The ability to multi-task is crucial. The candidate must also be comfortable managing high visibility projects, and be able to function successfully in a matrix management environment.

Preferred:
Appropriate project management experience with TSYS or in the credit card industry. PMP certification extensive work with project software implementation.df-tc
