Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of the principles and methods used in the analysis and development of information security systems and procedures. 7 years 7 yearsExtensive experience in information security. Extensive management experience for a group of at least 5 employees/contractors in an IT environment characterized by multiple processing platforms and 24x7 operational support requirements. 5 years 5 yearsExperience with enterprise-wide planning, testing, auditing, risk analysis, contingency planning including: TCP/IP firewalls, VPN's and other security devices and information management tools. 5 years 5 yearsSolid "people skills," including proven ability to lead a team. 2 years 5 yearsStrong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with other IT managers, technicians, customer,senior IT management and government officials. 2 years 5 yearsStrongly prefer State government experience in the development and implementation of security policy. CISSP certification required -
