The Project Manager will work with the Surgery Scheduling System Implementation Team and Vendor provided Project Lead to deliver the following: X Create a detailed Implementation Project Plan covering all aspects of the implementation. (Design, system builds, hardware procurement and deployment, Interface development, training plans, testing plans, parallel runs, go-live planning) X Work with the vendor Project Lead to coordinate tasks, merge project plans, escalate issues and drive toward a common goal. X Coordinating the schedule of resources from various ancillary departments who are needed throughout the project. X Ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and that the appropriate resources are allocated to complete all tasks. X Review and update project plan on a regular basis and share weekly (daily as needed) status reports with appropriate team members X Project change management X Maintain open and timely communication between project leaders and coordinate needs with Vendor project executive X Confirm all pre-requisite tasks are completed prior to all scheduled visits by Vendor assigned resources X Manage and coordinate internal resources for project X Liaison with Management to insure that information needs are met throughout the organization. X Must have solid Project Management Methodology X Working knowledge of Acute Care hospital processes a plus
