They currently have a DOS based old system that services their two businesses...Distributing medical products and renting equipment. They are (have) installing two new NT/SQL based systems to satisfy their needs and are going to have to make them talk to each other. The Project Manager they need should have a "business operations" background and done several implementations of systems (packages probably). This person will be called Manager of Business Systems and report to the Director of IT. After the implementation of these two systems, the person will support the business people with reporting off their data warehouse, probably using Crystal reports.This person will report to the Director of IT. They would like to find someone who has manufacturing and distribution experience. The three systems that MSD has are "Commerce Center" which is a distribution system, "Multi-Track Plus", and asset tracking system for customers to track the equipment from patient to patient, and a rental system which is highly customized to their business. The systems that this project is installing are new distribution and rental systems. They would ideally like to find someone who can manage this project, but who can also go on to manage the group. This would require someone who has some systems background.
